Kathryn currently teaches creative movement, music and yoga to children age
2-10 in schools and yoga centers including Rockefeller University, Basic Trust,
Kaplan Nursery, Chabad Early Learning Center and Next Generation Yoga. Kathryn
has a background in dance and has been practicing yoga since 1995. Her love
of teaching children and yoga led her to get certified through the Radiant Child
Yoga Program and Next Generation Yoga. She continues to study Educational Kinesiology
and Bal-A-Vis-X, and is extremely interested in brain/body integration through
movement. Kathryn has given lectures to teachers and parents about the importance
of music and movement in early childhood development and has volunteered for
the Girls Scouts in America bringing yoga into their lives. She enjoys and values
weaving knowledge of spirituality, respect, and kindness into her classes. She
also has a dog named Jackson and is a very dedicated mother to him.
