STUDIO DEDICATION QUOTES
I am touched and saddened by your closing. Your studio has been such a role model for Budding Yogis, your enthusiasm and dedication were a huge part of what helped me summon the courage to open Budding Yogis in the first place. Both Linda & I look to you and NGY as a guide for keeping yoga fun and playful for kids while maintaining it’s spiritual roots. I am happy to hear that you will continue to offer classes & trainings.

As we learn in yoga...detachment is the way to lead life and so it must be. Change always forces one into an unforeseen world...where there is something...better for one if you learn to embrace it.

The studio was such a special place with so much heart and soul.

This is really a very powerful and life altering opportunity to be able to close one amazing chapter and open another one in your life. So, hearty congratulations to you for all that you have done and all that is waiting to be done. I love the way you have transformed the kids’ yoga movement and have particularly reached out to and included children with disabilities. I know you are going to continue to do inspiring and important work around the tri-state area and the world.

I am sorry that you are closing your miniature 'OZ', however knowing you, I am sure there is something tugging on you to spread you wings and fly onto your next adventure.

I am a bit choked up - it has come as a surprise, never would I have thought you would close, but one sometimes only sees the magic of a place and not the reality of the work that goes into keeping something such as a business in NYC standing. But it seems from what you have wrote that NGY is, has been, and continues to be quite profitable in forms of the heart, in ways you could have never imagined. I feel so lovely to have been even a small small tree upon the high corner road on 72nd street.
You are living yoga................
Bless you courageous brave, smiling warrior
Here is a poem for your journeys on...
Cartwheels, Smoke, and Dragons
Sometimes I wish it weren't so
how the way of certain things
seem to come and go
For no matter how hard I try
I can't seem to grasp or catch
cartwheels, smoke, and dragons
I can't hold dreams, sounds of streams,
shadow's sight, shades of blue,
happy moods
violin notes, tickles in throats
All I can do
is let these things be
like apple trees
in the breeze

The studio was such a magical place! Iain and I have wonderful memories of its warmth and the fun we had there. I think I did more yoga than he did but he loved his weekly cuddle-up session with Peace Bear.

Thank you for creating such a great atmosphere and assembling such a fine
group of teachers. The NGY studio was a function of your vision and abilities and
filled a real need. Holly greatly benefited from her time there and we hope that yoga will always be a part of her life.
Sandy, Holly and I are sorry that continuation of the studio is not
economically feasible at this time. But we look forward to remaining in
touch with you and watching you continue bring the benefits of yoga to
others through books, video or in person.

It came as a shock to me and left me without words till now. I am glad of course that you can still continue your work like before. I am so happy Niyati and me had the opportunity to be with you at the studio and had tremendous benefits from being there. It is truly a place of beauty and peace and all my worries used to drop when I would come there.
