NGY offers two certification programs:
Yoga Teacher Training™ for 2-7 yr. olds
Yoga Teacher Training™ for 8-13 yr. olds

Each intensive provides a comprehensive, hands-on exploration of unique NGY methods for combining the ancient practice of yoga with the playful nature of children. Age-appropriate poses, thematic classes, child development principles and behavior management techniques are sure to fill your yoga bag with proven practices for developing meaningful yoga experiences with children.
The learning environment of Yoga Teacher Trainings is experiential, filled with demonstration classes, lesson planning techniques and ready-to-use teaching tools. Whether you are a first-time teacher trainee or a well-schooled, experienced yoga teacher, we offer a detailed and individualized study of yoga for 2-7 and 8-13 yr. olds.

You will learn how to empower kids with yoga from Jodi B Komitor MA, RYT, the founder and director of Next Generation Yoga. She is the author of the best-selling book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Yoga with Kids (read an excerpt). She also opened the first yoga studio (on the planet) created just for kids. It’s easy to see why the press and yogis from around the world consider Jodi to be a leading authority on yoga with children.

Upon completion of your Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive a graduation certificate and be ready to teach yoga to either 2-7 or 8-13 yr. olds.
